PV Panels & Inverters
Solar Photovoltaics, or Solar PV for short, is a technology in which daylight is converted into electrical power. Solar PV takes advantage of energy from the sun to create electricity, that will operate electrical appliances and lighting.
The Benefits of Solar Energy
- Cut your electricity bills: Sunlight is free, so once you’ve paid for the initial installation your electricity costs will be reduced.
- Get paid for the electricity you generate: The government’s Feed-In Tariffs pay you for the electricity you generate, even if you use it.
- Sell electricity back to the grid: If your system is producing more electricity than you need, or when you can’t use it, you can sell the surplus back to the grid.
- Cut your carbon footprint: Solar electricity is green, renewable energy and doesn’t release any harmful carbon dioxide, or other pollutants.
- A typical home solar PV system could save over a tonne of carbon dioxide per year, that’s more than 30 tonnes over its lifetime.
How solar power works for you
The electricity produced by your solar panels will be used to power your home. Any additional power which you do not use will be sent to the grid.
How Photovoltaics(PV) works
Put simply, the technology behind solar panels relies on photovoltaic (PV) cells to turn sunlight into electricity. Several of these cells connected together and fixed in a frame make a solar panel.

New Gas Boiler Installations
Banned by Mid-2030s
As part of wider initiatives to make the UK carbon neutral by
2050, new gas boiler installations will be phased out.
With efforts to reduce carbon emissions and tackle climate change
increasing across the globe, the government has planned a ‘decisive
shift’ away from fossil fuel, with new gas boiler installations to be
phased out by mid-2030s. Set out in the government’s December 2020
energy white paper, ‘Powering our net zero future’, new measures will
be introduced to start switching home heating, at scale, to low-carbon
alternatives.

Embrace a greener future with Electric cars
It has never been a better time to adopt a greener approach to transport… Due to the recent push by the government to prohibit the sale of new petrol and diesel vehicles by 2030, as well as the need to meet climate targets, there are now huge incentives to running an electric car – Notably the government grant on the purchase of a brand new low-emission vehicle… Plus you’ll also save a lot of money on fuel, and you’ll be doing your part for the environment, what’s not to love?
Thanks to the evolution of the electric car, there are plenty of options available when choosing the right car for you. There are cost effective options if you are more concerned with saving as much money as possible (on top of saving on fuel and maintenance) – there are also plenty of premium options for those in search of a more stylish eco car.
